Help! My Shul has a broken lock on the front door.

We get this question all the time! You probably have one of two locks on the front door. The good news is, we sell them both. Let's break down the differences between these two locks.

#1 is what we call the 5 Button Combination Lock for Panic Bar

and

#2 is what we call The Exit Trim Lever Lock

The first thing to know is that the easiest thing to do is replace it with the same thing that was there already. The #2 lock is popular, but we noticed that after wear and tear, the handles tend to sag and the locks will work inconsistently. Don't get so excited, the #1 option tends to have springs that break from the inside and need to get rebuilt.

Whichever you choose, it may need to get replaced in a few years, we are very consistent people and we use our Shul alot. It's like a used Siddur, sometimes it needs to be replaces, and that's the biggest blessing.
